HISTORY OF CHILHAM SHOP The shop was opened in the 1930’s and originally known as Chilham Fruit Farm.The shop was one of, if not the first farm shop in the area. Started by a local farming family, to sell their own produce and other locally grown, fruit and vegetables. Only opening in the summer months. For several years before running the shop ourselves, we supplied it with produce from our market garden in the neighbouring village of Selling. |

During the 21years that we have been running Chilham Shop, growing fruit and vegetables has declined in favour of raising garden plants for sale at the shop. We now stock a wide range of produce, locally grown whenever possible but also from around the world. The shop is now open all year. |
